As a a part of the PES University admissions process, PESSAT should be taken by all students who are applying for PES University programs.
For admissions to Engineering Programs, PESSAT will be conducted on different dates in the month of May 2017 at various locations across the Country. Please click here to know the various test centres of PESSAT
For admissions to non-Engineering programs, PESSAT will be conducted only at PES University campus in Bangalore starting from January 2017 until July 2017 on every Wednesday and Saturday. Click here to take the Online Exam by booking a slot.
Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the test score and personal interview.
Eligibility for BTech: In order to appear for PESSAT, the candidate should have at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Std or equivalent.
The test centre for all courses other than BTech will only be PES University, Bangalore.
PESSAT will not be considered for PESIT South Campus, PESIMSR & PES Central Campus. PESIT South Campus will continue affiliation with VTU. For more info, visit Campus pages.
PESSAT can only be attempted once by any candidate for the given academic year. If any candidate is found to violate this rule, he/she will be barred from the seat selection process.

July 2017: Last date of Online Registrations
January 5th 2017: Commencement of Slot bookings
January 7, 2017 – July 2017: PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT 2017)
PESSAT Results: 1 Week after taking the test
Candidates meet PESSAT DAT 2018 eligibility criteria if they fulfill any of the below mentioned requirements:
Should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Arts, Science, Commerce or any other relevant stream and should have studied English as a mandatory course.
Should have passed three year diploma with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and should have studied English as a mandatory course.
Should have secured a rank in UCEED conducted by IDC of IIT Bombay or should have a valid score in PESSAT DAT conducted by PES University.
