The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 answer keys for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 today i.e., Friday, December 28, 2018, on its official website.
The CTET 2018 answer keys for both paper I and paper II are now available on the official web — www.ctet.nic.in. Along with the answer keys, the Board has also released candidates' answer sheet and link to challenge the answer keys. The last date to submit the objections against answer key is December 30.
Around 17 lakh candidates appeared for the CTET exam conducted in two shifts — 9:30 am to 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm — on December 9, 2018 in 92 cities across the country. This year the CTET exam was conducted after a gap of two years.
There were 9,78,818 female candidates, 7,12,071 male candidates, 33,107 aspirants had disabilities, while 199 were transgender.
It may be noted that the CBSE in 2015 had introduced an online verification system for CTET eligibility certificates. The each certificate issued by the CTET Unit has been uniquely identified with a Global Document Type Identifier (GDTI) which is encoded in a GS1 QR Code. The GS1 QR Code is printed on the top-right corner of the certificate and when the QR Code is canned by any QR Code scanner mobile application the information associated with the certificate i.e. full name, photograph, roll number, date of issue, marks obtained etc stored in CBSE secured server will be displayed on the mobile of verifying agency.
From this year, the CBSE will also provide CTET mark sheets and eligibility certificates to successful candidates in the digital format in a "DigiLocker" account, which would have encrypted QR code for security.
The DigiLocker account credentials will be conveyed to the successful candidates on their mobile numbers. This will make it easy to authenticate documents and save candidates from carrying physical documents.
