The results of the Class 12 state board exams will be announced today at 1pm.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) confirmed the results will be declared on Tuesday. Students can check them on www.mahresult.nic.in
Fifteen lakh students across Maharashtra, including 3.4 lakh from the Mumbai division, wrote the HSC exams in February and March.
The exams were marred by repeated paper leaks, between March 2 and March 10.
Five HSC question papers — Marathi, Secretarial Practice, Political Science, Physics, and Mathematics and Statistics — were leaked on the messaging app WhatsApp, minutes before the exam began.
A state-appointed panel is probing how the papers were leaked.
For the past week, unconfirmed reports of the results being declared had students, parents and schools on edge. “There were rumours about the results being declared on Thursday, and then Monday. We have been prepared for them to be declared at any moment,” said MB Madlani, the principal of KPB Hinduja College in Girgaon.
This year, the results for all three boards — CBSE, ISC and Maharashtra state board exams — have come late as Assembly polls in five states delayed the exams.
