New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has yesterday released an official confirmation on the official website of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2018. As per the notice released, the NEET 2018 syllabus is exactly the same as that of NEET 2017. This clarification was released after sources quoted Ministry of Human Resource Development, Prakash Javadekar as taking the state board syllabus into consideration for NEET 2018 examination. The notification for NEET 2018 is expected soon.
After the report of NEET 2018 syllabus being changed to include the state board syllabus went viral, CBSE, the board responsible for conducting the examination has released a clarification against the news. The notification is available on the official website cbseneet.nic.in. Students and parents are accordingly advised against following any other information. The notification clearly states that the syllabus is “exactly the same”.
CBSE is expected to release the NEET 2018 notification latest by January 31, 2018. The entrance examination is the only medical entrance examination other than AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS examinations for admissions to medical and dental seats in the country. The information regarding the changes, if any, in the NEET 2018 exam pattern, eligibility or syllabus would be available in the notification which is yet to be released.
