RRB ALP, Technician 2nd stage exam to held on December 24

Railway Recruitment Board has postponed the second stage Computer Based Tests (CBT) held for recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. The exam was scheduled to held on December 12 will be now held on December 24. The admit cards release date has also been deferred.

As per a press note, RRBs have “received representations requesting postponement of 2nd Stage CBT on account of clashing of dates with the CBT for CEN 02/2018 and/or academic examinations. In view of the above, the 2nd stage CBT scheduled earlier from 12th December is postponed and shall now start from 24th December 2018.”

A total of 5,88,605 candidates have qualified in the first stage to appear for the second stage examination. RRB conducted the first stage examinations were held from August 9 to September 4, 2018, in which a total of 36,47,541 candidates appeared. The examinations were held online in 440 centres spread over the country. Indian Railways have advertised 64,371 posts for recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians in March this year.

The candidates can download their examination city intimation 10 days prior to the actual day of the examination. E-call letter will be available 4 days prior to the examination date. Candidates will be informed to download their E-call letter through SMS, e-mail and also notice on the website of RRB.
