The schedule for the entire admission process for first year junior college like filling of quota admissions, including inhouse, minority , management among others, was announced.Classes for standard XI will begin from July 26.
A total of four CAP rounds based on the merit list have been announced. Chairman of the CAP committee Dinkar Temkar said, “The CAP rounds would be applicable for Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. The admissions under quota would be conducted at the college level through the online process to maintain transparency . All colleges have been told to surrender their unfilled quota seats to the centralised process as per the schedule.“
The quota for in-house seats at every college is restricted to 20% of the total intake, minority schools should reserve 50% seats, management seats at 5%.
Temkar said the cut-offs this year are likely to remain like last year's since there is only a marginal decline in the SSC results compared with last year.
“The process of filling forms online started on May 25 with part I. Filling of the part II of the form will start from Friday and students must fill the entire form latest by 5pm on June 27,“ Temkar said. Students are free to fill both parts of the form, their personal details and option list, till the last date.
