Common management admission test 2025

The CMAT 2025 exam, a national-level MBA entrance exam, will be held in May 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the exam and registration dates in February 2025. The CMAT is conducted in a computer-based test mode at over 300 centers across various cities in India. It serves as a gateway for admission to some of the top MBA colleges, including JBIMS, KJ Somaiya, Prin LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Great Lakes Institute of Management, KIIT School of Management, Amity University, BIMTECH, Goa Institute of Management, Xavier Institute of Management and Research, and Gitam School of Management. For detailed information about CMAT 2025, including dates, eligibility, fees, registration, syllabus, pattern, preparation, and cut-offs, prospective candidates should stay updated with announcements from NTA.

CMAT Registration 2025

CMAT 2025 registration for the examination will start from Second week of March 2025
Candidates will register for the exam only through online mode.
The last date to fill the CMAT application form is Third week of April 2025
At the time of form filling, candidates have to select up to 3 cities in India towards their test city.
Upload the scanned images of photograph & signature in a given format.
Candidates should take a print copy of the filled application for further use.

Application Fee:

The fee can be submitted through Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking/e-Challan & the CASH Payment in SBI MOPS. The application fee will be Rs. 2,000 + Bank Charges (for GEN/OBC(Male)) & Rs. 1,000 + Bank Charges (for Female/SC/ST/PwD).

Age Limit: There is no age restriction to appear in the examination.

Qualification Criteria:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must pass graduation degree in any discipline.
Appearing: Candidates, those in final years of graduate courses (10+2+3), can also apply.

CMAT Syllabus 2025

There will be no prescribed syllabus for the CMAT exam preparation. Candidates should solve the mock test to understand the pattern of the examination & type of questions. The CMAT 2025 syllabus will be comprised of Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension & General Awareness. The questions will be asked from these topics.

CMAT Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates should check exam pattern details here:

Mode: The examination will be held in online mode (computer-based test).
Duration: The duration of the exam will be three hours.
Number of Questions: In the examination, a total 100 multiple choice type questions will be asked.
Total Marks: The question paper will be of 400 marks.
Subjects: The questions will be asked from these segments, i.e. Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
Language of paper: The exam will be asked in the English language.
Marking Scheme: For a correct answer, four marks will be allotted to the candidates.
Negative Marking: There will be negative marking of 1 mark for the wrong answer.
