PESSAT
The exam is conducted by Peoples Education Society (PES) University. It is a national level entrance exam through which students get admission into B. Arch and B. Tech programmes. Based on PESSAT Score, the qualifying students will be able to pursue various undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes in PES University. The entrance exam is conducted once in a year in the PES University campus situated in Bangalore

Counselling
Candidates who are shortlisted will be called for PESSAT counselling. There are two rounds in PESSAT counselling. Candidates must submit the counselling fee of 500 INR. Candidates have to bring their original documents during the time of counselling. The documents that are required during counselling are as follows:
Two demand drafts of 2, 80,000 INR and 5000 INR in favor of “PES University General Fund” that is payable at Bangalore.
Eligibility Criteria
Should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Arts, Science, Commerce or any other relevant stream and should have studied English as a mandatory course.
Or
Should have passed three year diploma with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and should have studied English as a mandatory course.
And
Should have secured a rank in UCEED conducted by IDC of IIT Bombay or should have a valid score in PESSAT DAT conducted by PES University.
Only for the AY 2021-22, PESSAT for B.Tech will not carry questions from the 30% of syllabus which has been eliminated by the Government due to COVID situation.
