What is the CAP process in Maharashtra?
CAP stands for Centralized Admission Process. It is an online system used by the Government of Maharashtra to allot college seats to students based on their merit ranks, category, and college preferences across the state.
Do I need to submit original documents for verification?
Yes, original documents are required during the reporting phase to the allotted college. For the initial online registration and E-Scrutiny, scanned copies of original documents must be uploaded.
How many options can I fill in the CAP Option Form?
For most courses like Engineering and Pharmacy, you can fill a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 300 choices (college + branch combinations). It is highly recommended to fill maximum choices based on previous year cut-offs to ensure allotment.
