CUET UG 2026 Fresh Admit Card Released: What Affected Students Must Know Before June 6 & 7 Re-Exam

On the morning of May 30, 2026, a technical malfunction by TCS iON, the NTA's technology partner, delayed thousands of CUET UG candidates by two or more hours during the first shift. Although 95% waited for the system to be restored, 3,765 candidates left before the exam resumed.

NTA's Resolution: Students who completed biometric registration that day but left before the restart will get a one-time retest on June 6–7, 2026. Updated admit cards were released on June 1 via the NTA portal. The original admit card is now invalid—only the retest admit card is accepted at the centre.

To access your updated New CUET UG 2026 Admit Card, follow these five easy steps:

Step 1: Go to cuet.nta.nic.in (the official CUET website).

Step 2: On the Homepage, locate and click on the 'CUET UG 2026 Admit Card' link.

Step 3: Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth/password to log in with NTA.

Step 4: After successfully logging in to the official website as instructed, your updated Admit Card will appear on your screen.

Step 5: Save your CUET UG 2026 Admit Card and print it out as you will need a clear copy for the Test.
