NEET Going CBT in 2027: How to Prepare for Computer-Based Mode

NEET-UG to go digital in 2027! NTA'S NEET-UG exam changes to a computer-based test (CBT) in 2027 to address the 2026 NEET-UG leak and to improve exam security; must now be taken via computer rather than on paper using OMR sheets. Differences Between CBT and OMR: CBT: read the question on computer screen and select answers with a mouse. OMR: read the question and then bubble the correct answer on an OMR sheet.

The syllabus, duration, and marking plan will remain the same between the two formats. How to Prepare for the CBT NEET-UG Exam: Take mock tests to get used to reading from a computer screen. Take the mock tests on a laptop or desktop computer, not just on your phone.

Familiarize yourself with the electronic navigation system and review tools provided in the CBT format. Reports indicate that the NTA may start doing multi-session/multi-stage testing on the NEET-UG exam.
